Cooling System Restoration Technology

The Royal Flush Program

Five specialized chemical flushes designed for five different internal cooling system conditions. The correct treatment is selected from coolant analysis data, contamination type, system history, and field verification.

The Right Chemistry for the Condition

There Is No Universal Cooling System Flush

Burnt glycol, spent coolant, severe oil contamination, phosphate contamination, and rust are different problems. Each requires chemistry designed for that specific condition.

The Royal Flush Program is diagnosis driven. Laboratory results and supporting information determine whether the system needs HDF, PMF, OCF, PO4FIX, RRF, or one approved two-product sequence.

Using more chemical does not create a better result. The objective is to apply only the treatment required, follow the correct procedure, verify the system, and restore clean heat-transfer surfaces.

Five Specialized Flushes

Select a Product to Learn More

Each Royal Flush product targets a defined cooling system condition. Product selection should be supported by coolant analysis and system history.

HDF Heavy Duty Flush for burnt glycol

HDF

Heavy Duty Flush

Targets thermally degraded and burnt glycol contamination, commonly called the Black Death.

Ready to Use · 168–336 Hours View HDF
PMF Preventive Maintenance Flush

PMF

Preventive Maintenance Flush

Targets spent coolant, silicate dropout, mild oil residue, and preparation for a coolant-type change.

Mix 1:1 · Run 7–14 Days View PMF
PO4FIX Phosphate Fix

PO4FIX

Phosphate Fix

Targets phosphate contamination and rust associated with improper detergents, degreasers, or coolant chemistry.

Ready to Use · 4 Hours at Temperature View PO4FIX
RRF Rust Removal Flush

RRF

Rust Removal Flush

Targets internal rust and corrosion deposits that restrict coolant circulation and insulate heat-transfer surfaces.

Ready to Use · 2 Hours at Temperature View RRF
OCF Oil Contamination Flush

OCF

Oil Contamination Flush

Targets severe oil contamination and oil-coolant emulsions following an oil cooler, gasket, or component failure.

Ready to Use · 4 Hours at Temperature View OCF

Treatment Discipline

Three Rules Protect the Process

The program uses the fewest products necessary to correct the confirmed condition.

1

Diagnose Before Treating

Use coolant analysis, system history, field observations, and mechanical verification to identify the contamination before selecting a flush.

2

Two-Product Maximum

Approved combination procedures contain no more than two Royal Flush products. Follow the published sequence exactly.

3

Do Not Mix Incompatible Paths

HDF is never paired with PMF. OCF is never paired with PMF. HDF pairs only with RRF or PO4FIX when the report supports the second treatment.

Published Treatment Paths

Possible Flush Combinations

Match the confirmed system condition to the applicable product or published two-product procedure.
